Roma

This Mexican movie directed by Alfonso Cuarón already won several awards, including The Golden Globe for best picture. The story takes place at the beginning of the 70´s and it shows the life of Cleo, a domestic employee of a Mexican family. The movie shows how Cleo sees and lives her daily life. The film is so well made; you will definitely feel you are back on the 70´s.

 

A Star Is Born

This movie is a third adaptation of its original version from 1937.

Lady Gaga stars in this amazing movie directed by Bradley Cooper. She really dazzles us with her great performance and amazing voice. Actually, she is nominated for best actress in a leading role.

 

Green Book

Based on the real life of Tony Lip, a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood who worked for several years as security in the Copacabana Club at New York, and in 1962 becomes the chauffer of the famous pianist, Don Shirley.

This movie already won the Toronto’s Film Festival People’s Choice Award, how many more will they receive on The Oscars?

 

Bohemian Rhapsody

One of the most expected movies, especially for those who love Queen.

This movie became the third biggest box-office hit in the history of the US.
